Crosland Cottage

A quaint, 2-storey overdwelling in Holmbridge

Crosland Cottage is a quaint, 2-storey overdwelling in Holmbridge, a picturesque Yorkshire village clinging to the eastern slopes of the Pennines, and a quiet alternative to popular, nearby Holmfirth. Built as a mill workers’ dwelling in the early 1800s, the cottage sits on a narrow stone street beside a public footpath which leads straight up into the hills and a network of walking trails, making the cottage an ideal base for walkers.

The location is also perfect for cyclists, and anyone in search of a historical, peaceful, rural setting. Amenities include free WiFi, washer/dryer, central heating, TV and fully equipped kitchen. There is a small stone seating area next to the front door, and outside bench and table. Holmbridge has an excellent restaurant microbrewery and general shop; Holmfirth is 1 mile away and has plenty of pubs, shops, and restaurants, as well as the famous landmarks from the Last of the Summer Wine TV series. Due to a very steep staircase, the accommodation is not suitable for those with mobility issues. Pets are not allowed. Please note, if you do have pet allergies, we have accepted dogs in the past.
